You are all rested.

Your bike is ready.

Drinks are cold.

Join the Guys for a ride.

Stop.

Few kms into the ride you get a Mechanical, snapped the chain.

I can not fix the bike, so I walk back home.

At home i fixed the bike and cleaned up.

Stop.

Now what do you DO?

Go for a ride on your own?

Head back and try find your mates?

Or do I just go back to sleep?

Well I decided to look for them mates.

3h odd hours later I recognised my mates.

Thanks Guys.

Ps. I won't be leaving the chain breaker at home!

& your mates didn't help you fix your chain?

Ja. Guys don't all ride with a Chain breaker. Pity as I missed a good ride.

That's hardly a question you can ask of the hubber involved. From all accounts, he's tough as nails.

I think when Chopper Read feels a bit down and life gets a bit over the top for him he goes to FRAIL to HTFU.

I ride my essential tools and lots of Quick-ties in camelback( but then again, don't do the road thing). I usually break something in a ride, or something comes loose.

I got the basics.2 tubes2 bombsMoney

In our group if one person has a breakdown we help/push/walk run with him back!Once one guy broke his deraller and we helped push him back where we could.

I know when I am a burden to the Team.

Did you HTFU from the experience?

Good!

Simple. Take the time to over your bike and check all the wear and tear to ensuring no minor slip ups.
