Cube kit was free and I really like it...

Maybe one day when I am big I will buy the matching Cube bike!

Ok, in that case you are forgiven.... ph34r.png

You left out the tyre - outer diameter with tyre is 730mm on my SS with a 2.1 tyre. 730mm is just under 29" which is where the "29" in 29er comes from :-)

So....circ is 2.45m

I reckon I'm a 95rpm kinds guy so 29.8km/h for me.

It's mostly irrelevant really though because you do more than 29.8km/h on downhills without pedalling and far less than that when we're kakking off on uphills.

I'd agree with the theory if we were on fixies though (I'd unclip on the down if that were the case).

Im just trying to get a feel for the measure of pain on the N14 :)

My numbers were slightly off - check edited post.

We aint scared - we be rolling 700c wheels - just like your road bikes :-)

Which reminds me of a bad joke:

How do you know if someone is riding an SS? They tell you.

I will be on a White/Black/Red Cannondale. I will probably be wearing a Pink Drive shirt. If not, I will find you lot.

since the sunward slipstreamers are all in one kit i think we should all gravitate to them and take it from there

I was just about to say that this will probably be the best way to identify "thehub sub 3 E group".

There should be two of us in Ocean Basket kit - all going well we are aiming for below 2:45.... White Giant TCR and Blue and White Bianchi Infinito....

if you are in ocean basket kit, should you not be in the licenced groups, or are you dropping back.

Nah, last year we chose to do BSG Race in CT (same day as 94.7 - so we didn't ride), and this year we did the I-Flex series and a few MTB races so both our seedings are a bit low....Ri might try to get into the Elite ladies with her Tri licence, but I'm going to stay in E - I reckon we are going to give a good few B's and C's a skrik!
