After not doing a PPA ride since 2009 and entering the race late this year I am starting at the back - X! Should be fun to see how many people I can pass!!!

 

Hopefully I'll be past Wellington by the time you catch me - then I can slip you all the way behind Agter-Paarl.

Got a B start group. I wanted to get sub 2H30, Should i ask the people in charge for a re-seed or will the B bunch get around a 2h30 time ?

5:57 probably 2nd or 3rd group, usuaully after the Elites & Tandems.

Last years conditions were fairly good for the early starters. Winner of B did it in 2:32.

So the chances is there of reaching your goal.

I do think the seeding is a little weird. My dad got A as a start group and i have beaten him in every race before. last week i did a 2h55 94.7 race and he did a 4h20 for example.
