Both is good bikes. You have to ride them before you make your final choice. I prefer my Specialized, others love Bianchi.

It all comes down to how you feel on the bike. Get a demo bike from your LBS.

Zeee,

I'm riding a Giant TCR C1 and absolutely love it. No complaints. Cervelo a great bike but IMO the Giant much better value for money.

Zee, how competative are you? Will you be able to tell the difference between a Bianchi and a Solis (except for the stickers offcourse)?

Read all the advice, think hard, then buy the one you thinks looks the best. If it's ugly, you won't ride it!

zee, al I can say, R25K is a lot of money. Go to a "big" shop and look at their 28-29k range and start to deal.

You want a R30K bike for your R25K.. You got the money, they want it.And if they dont want to drop the price, they have to add a free pair of carbon sole shoes or Bell sweep helmet ...

Good luck. Important, its not the brand name, but what you like. How it looks play a big role.

Zeee, I've been riding the Soloist Team for close on 3 years and am very happy with it. Just remember that it is an alu frame which transmits all road unevenness / noise to you. Thus on a longer ride I'm guessing that a full carbon bike could be less tiring.

The best advice I've read in this thread must however be that you must like the look of the bike beyond all else.

just started cycling about  a month ago.i dont want too make a bad investment.

In terms of investment, unless you buy a Colnago Ferrari you will lose 50% of the bikes value the second you push it out the shops door.
