_Daemon_ Posted November 28, 2012 Share Been riding a on one scandal 29er for 3 years now, cannot be more happy. But looking at the welds on the pomptamine's compared to my scandal, the pomps's are much, much nicer. So SS gearing on a CX...42/18 maybe...maybe bit big. _Daemon_ Posted November 28, 2012 Share On my mtb I ride 34/16-18 which is fine, on cx might want a bit more speed, will have to play around a bit with the ratios

shaper Posted November 28, 2012 Share For 83 pounds a frame...I am blown away by the quality of them. How the frames? Do they need to be faced or all done and ready to build?
pietas Posted November 28, 2012 Share My SSCX that I commute with runs on 39x17. But it is not of much use when going off-road. Or you need seriously strong legs Like the bike. Maybe time I upgrade to a steel CX....
