For 83 pounds a frame...

I am blown away by the quality of them.

On One are exceptional bikes at exceptional prices .... we need more guys on these bikes in SA.

Been riding a on one scandal 29er for 3 years now, cannot be more happy. But looking at the welds on the pomptamine's compared to my scandal, the pomps's are much, much nicer.

So SS gearing on a CX...42/18 maybe...maybe bit big.

On my mtb I ride 34/16-18 which is fine, on cx might want a bit more speed, will have to play around a bit with the ratios

How the frames? Do they need to be faced or all done and ready to build?

My SSCX that I commute with runs on 39x17. But it is not of much use when going off-road. Or you need seriously strong legs

Like the bike. Maybe time I upgrade to a steel CX....
