Momentum 94.7 cycle challenge - help me to get my race time

Hi guys

 

My time for the Momentum 94.7 Cycle challenge was not recorded by Racetec as my timing chip did not read of any of the timing mats. I did not opt for the photo-option and my number fell off during the race due to the heat. I also did not finish with a friend or someone familiar to confirm my time with Racetec.

 

I completed the Momentum 94.7 Cycle challenge on Sunday in 03h15m22sec and started in group NN at 09h32; finished between 12h45 and 13h00 on the day. My race number was NN26461.

 

I was wearing a yellow MET helmet, prescription glasses (not sunglasses), predominantly red Nalini cycle jersey with black inserts, black Giordana cycle pants and road a red Trek road bicycle – see attached image.

 

I was cramping very badly as I got off my bike at the finish (near the medals table) and could not walk. An elderly gentleman assited me on the climb just before the finish and at the medals table.

 

If anyone has any information/pictures to confirm that I have finished, this would be greatly appreciated - I was hoping to get a good seeding for the Argus.

What did you use to record your race time? GPS device? Polar?

If you go to the Action Photo site, you can browse photos of unidentified riders (e.g. ones like you without photo stickers). You might get lucky and find a pic there.

No GPS and no Polar. I have gone through the unidentified pictures on Action photo... no luck. Very bleak about this.

I have a friend in the same situation. We managed to find a picture with him and another rider with a number visable just before the end of the race but no official word on whether they will give him a time yet.

 

As Minion said your best bet is to go through action photo - you can search for pictures at the finish line by approximate time.

Yes! It would be ideal if I can watch all the pictures from 12h40 to 13h00 and identify myself. But I do not seem to find this functionality from the Action photo website...

I should have done something like that a few years back when i left my chip at home and had photo's and garmin evidence, rode one of my best times but have not been credited for it.

I had the same problem - had my best time ever. Chip recorded at start but not at finish. Noticed the photo number fell off my helmet so no photos. Husband predicted my time, he phoned when i was crossing the line. Sent query heard nothing.

 

Need time for Argus seeding, claim Discovery points and proof to the rest of my team that I did the time I claim.
