Active Monkey Posted November 27, 2012 Share I need to replace my wheels and tires on my Scott spark 50. The wheels are still the standard ones it came with, just did a tubeless conversion. I would like ones that are strong, lighter and not too expensive? What are decent brands? ( i have no knowledge here)
Guest Posted November 27, 2012 Share Maxxis Icon/CrossMark Schwalbe Racing Ralph SnakeSkinGeax Saguaro (heavy but flippen strong) All retal around R599-R650 depending on store or online order.Summit Cycles can do the icon + sealant @ R650 per wheel for you. Good deal IMO. rouxtjie

Musashi Posted November 27, 2012 Share I had a Scott Spark 50 and put on ZTR Crest rims with Hope hubs and Racing Ralph snakeskin tyres and I was very happy. I've sold the bike but still have the wheel set. If you're interested, drop me a PM. Today I have a Scott 29r with the same spec wheels.

El Dodgius Bastardo Posted November 28, 2012 Share I have a set of Fulcrum Red Metal 3's. LUST Crossmark on the rear, LUST Monorail on the front, both still in pretty decent nick. The hubs were serviced about 6 months ago and have been sitting in the garage pretty much since then. I'll let them go for pretty cheap.
