Even with a manual, you'll find it's impossible to set up or keep set up.

Agreed......they are rubbish. I went thru three of them under warranty.

Well, mine is still going strong after about 4 years, and also, me, a 51 year "outoppie" can set it up without even looking at the manual, the younger technologically advantaged should be able to do it as well!

I bought two online (to have a spare one where navigation is a factor) and was assured they would be fine with a 29" wheel....except that the unit won't accept a wheel size setting where the second digit needs to be a "2", e.g. 2260

 

Who the hell makes (and sells) a thing like that these days?

 

Agreed, otherwise pretty simple to "programme".
