I recently tried out a new latex based sealent. When fitting the tyre, I got some of the sealent on my clothes. How can I remove those stains? I have tried many washes, both warm and cold water and they are still there. I even tried to use Dirt Nurse. Does anyone have any other opinions?

try DOOM (or any insect killer for that matter), it works on oil etc. no harm in trying

p.s. also works to remove tar from your vehicle just dont let it get near any black plastic bits

Vaseline helps remove latex, but you need to chuck it into the washer directly after pulling the latex off as the vaseline is likely to leave an oil stain.

Normal spirits does this better. You can even use normal spirits to clean off the white polish residue left on the black plastic bits.

Sorry OP no advise for you... My clothes that I stuff up like that normally just end up as "garage wear"

Try what you like.

I have tried everything that is available to buy but with no luck.

Steps that did work in the end.

1. Take the close off

2. put it in a plastic bag

3. Bin it.

Problem solved.

I think during the hubs downtime no one knew what to do! And I guess this happened to you just as the hub went down? Burning questions burn!
