  1. Took this at Potch dam on a cold morning at sunrise.
  2. Good day all. Can anyone advise me on where to shop for photography equipment? Any decent online stores?
  3. I bet that little electronic pod lasts no longer than 3 rides in the place where it is mounted
  4. That is a dangerous store. When I worked in the states I went in there to browse and walked out 20 mins later and $600 poorer.
  5. Have your kid stand out from the rest and buy him a Cannondale Flash. The Lefty is an amazing shock and it is an absolute dream to ride.
  6. How these guys stay injury free with all of their antics is beyond me.
  7. Put some lovely green slime in the tires and you are ready to roll. At that weight the frame should never break.
  8. I have just finished reading Mark Boucher's book (a great read btw). He discusses quotas quite a bit and really makes sense in what he says. He mentions Justin Ontong who was fast tracked into the Proteas team as a push toward transformation. Everyone knew that he wasn't ready to play international cricket, but the decision was made at the 'top'. Bouch says that his tour to Aus (I think it was) put him back about 7 years as a player. His confidence was destroyed as a result of poor performances and as a person who was sure to be an international regular, only ever lived up to become a domestic average. This applies to all sport. How can a fat guy behind a desk who has never amounted to anything in the world of sport make decisions that can ruin a young players future, just to push his dreams and ideals on others. With this said I am all for transformation but it must be done right. Start with the youngsters and sure, place quotas on club and domestic levels. Why ruin the reputation of the country just to reach imaginary targets. As for Fikile, he said were are from Africa but it doesn't show in our teams? All of us are Africans. I was born and have lived my whole life on this continent.
  9. As a Cannondale boy myself, I have started saving already.
  10. Next thing you know he will sue the Cape Epic for the name too.
  11. Off their website... Since the FTR does everything from cartridge upgrade to complete overhaul. If the fork is not abused, and has been serviced regularly, all internal repairs would be covered for 1 year. Cannondale offers a LIFE TIME guarantee on the structure itself....This is for the shock. and for the frame... (frame, fork structure, swing arm): Cannondale frames (except frames for Freeride, and Dirt Jumping bikes, see below) are warranted by Cycling Sports Group, Inc., 16 Trowbridge Drive, Bethel, CT 06801 against manufacturing defects in materials and/or workmanship for the lifetime of the original owner
  12. Point I'm making is that he isn't really all that good. If he cheated and still never featured.
  13. If you look at the line that Fumic took compared to the "Schurter line" as it is known, he had much bigger rocks to deal with. That being said. None of us are on that level. Give Nino or Manuel a BMX and they will still own the course. Cannondale is a brand with a huge following and have a massive reputation to uphold. There is no way that they will release an inferior product. They back what they make, hence the lifetime warrenty you get when buying one of their amazing bikes.
  14. As mense wat jonger is as ek my naam verklein wil ek iets oorkom.
  15. Does anyone know how is recovery is going?
  16. Thanks for all the advice. I'll try the DOOM, otherwise I guess I got a new set of clothes for the garage.
  17. I recently tried out a new latex based sealent. When fitting the tyre, I got some of the sealent on my clothes. How can I remove those stains? I have tried many washes, both warm and cold water and they are still there. I even tried to use Dirt Nurse. Does anyone have any other opinions?
  18. For those that ride motorised 2wheel machines, they are next to the Full Throttle on Lynnwood.
  19. For a quick ride, the Parys Island Dirtmax is a blast. alsways pust a smile on my face. Start near the front to avoid getting stuck behind slower riders on the single track.
  20. I went there looking for bolts for my cleats. Was given 4 at no cost. Nearly fell over. Service there is amazing, they go out of thir way to help no matter how small your request is. Some other shops they only pay attention to you when you inicate that you want to blow a wad of cash. Well done guys.
  21. Wow. I bet the car helps the brother pull women. Seriously, what self respecting girl would not fall for a guy with graphics like that on his car?? His parents must be so proud of their little boy
