Thanx man!

The Crossmax ST's are great, even if they are a bit narrow, but they are much stronger than I though they would be and pretty stiff. The fox 34 (150mm) is a vast improvement over the 120mm Reba I had before. Its a 2013 model so the CTD damper does make the fork dive a bit when braking etc, but I don't notice it too much.

I'm under correction here, but I think Droo from Stoke suspension mentioned to me some time back that the the 2013 floats are a bit problematic, he mentioned it could be sorted by upgrading/swapping the internals out. Obviously comes at a pretty penny.

But hey just thought I would mention so that you are aware there is an option for you out there should the fork feel requires a bit of a tune.

2013 & 2014, and you can swap out the internals for a 2015.

True that. I have not had any major issues yet but I got the fork at such a good deal that spending quite a bit more for new internals does not seem like something I would be willing to do...yet. But it is an option though. Thank you.

the rims you have sure looks schweet.  I noticed there are different versions of the crossmax, SLR, ST and what not.

Are the STs 19mm internal width? how do they compare or how do they fit into the mavics 3, 5 7 and 8 series stuffs?  price?

You running a FUNN stem on there? I assume your Giant has the overdrive 2 system? I don't know much about it but a friend has just bought a 2013 Trance SL and want to run a shorter stem.

hehe thanx dude! Yip its got the Overdrive system, but the fork has a normal tapered steerer which allows me to run a normal stem on there (FUNN Stryge 60mm). Not sure about the availability of shorter stems for the OD 2 system....

Cool. I know his is also a tapered steerer so I'm sure he can run any stem. Will just try a normal stem and see. That's the quickest test I reckon.

Thank you...ja the SLR are XC wheels where the ST are more trail orientated and then the SX are more enduro etc. I believe Mavic don't produce the SLR's and SX's anymore. Internal width is 19mm, so its a bit narrow.  Note sure how they compare to the 3,5,7 series rims etc as I have never had experience with those. I got them for a good deal, 2.5k from ASG some time ago.

Can you comment on the strength of the ST rims?
