I wouldn't call him a villain. Am still supporting him all the way to Paris. But he's saying some silly stuff.

Me too.

Rider safety must be left out of the hands of the riders.

Leave it to the race organisers. It's their job.

Ride your Pina, Froomster!!!

If most of the peloton are worried about the descent, has there been some sort of representation made on their behalf to the organisers by the teams?

Of course it's important. But is he inconsistent on his safety issues. He says Contador was being unnecessarily dangerous on the "Beloki descent". What was dangerous was Froome trying to stay on his wheel.

Correct!!! ....you're now not allowed to attack yellow if he needs a pi$$, has a SRAM moment, falls or whilst descending!

Morning everyone, especially to those of you at the office today. Eish, my condolences, you're going to miss a helluva battle. I'll be at home with my feet up, watching from start to finish.

Taking a day's leave just to watch the TDF has me feeling like a combination of cutting school and winning money on the lotto.

I can't remember when last I got this excited about a sports event  .

ill have my feet up on my office desk watching the streaming

Send Vino and 'Berto that memo too, Delgado.

What a day that was.

After Froome's ill-timed comments about Contador's descent two days ago, I am starting to lose a little respect. Sure, as patron of the peloton, he is well-placed to voice concerns to the organisers.

But Sky are really beginning to sound like a Lance-run operation. Remember how they bullied the Giro into neutralising a stage.

Bad taste.

I agree, Tumbleweed.

That air of CONTROL. Being bigger than the peloton.

That's why I dig Froome, the individual. And dislike Team Sky.

It seems they don't really present a united front - remember Ted King being skopped a few weeks back? Most of the riders wanted him to start but they did zilch,

But in 2010, remember the slippery cobbled road in northern France, where many fell down, some injuries? I think Frank S broke his collarbone, the peloton rode together slowly to the finish, led by Fab Fabio., Maybe Jens should take the lead now.

What an absorbing Tour it's been thus far.

Supreme riding by Froome.

Burst into stardom for Quintana and Kwiatkowski.

The fall of Evans, Gardener.

The suprize of Belkin's Mollema and Ten Dam.

The consistency of Sagan.

The speed of light stuff by Kittel.

The ferocity of Saxo's Alberto and Roman.

And so on and so on.

The feed starts from 12h00 local today, they are broadcasting the whole stage. Probably not on our local media monopoly. Heard there is some Golf on though.
