Contador descends at a dangerous rate? Why is that a danger to Froome?

Its the biggest cycling race in the world, Froome was doing what is expected of him as race leader following Contador, and when you follow a rider like that you trust that he knows what he is doing.

Froome said it was dangerous because Contador lost control and fell off nearly causing Froome to ride over the edge.

I thought it was pretty obvious, hence my original question was Froome's statement wrong?

Yes if AC did not fall off, but that's not what happened.

Did you see what happened to Contador? How he fell?

Yoh, so much of excitement for today's stage....

Can't someone ask if they can start early, rather than worry about cutting out the 2nd lap....
