What a stage...man I was on the edge of the couch. This is what its about....

Sky did very well even extending their lead. Frenchie took the queen stage. Berto goes until he blows...Quintana climbing like a goat and Porte helping a injured soldier...it had it all. Only loser was poor Raymond...he kukked a bit, spent the pennies too early.

Roll on today...wish we can do a wash rinse repeat of yesterday.

I swear I dont know how these guys dont start dishing out PK's left and right. When I am kakking off I want to be left alone. Some dude sreaming in my face will really pee me off. That is why they are respected pro's. Superhumans

The only time my wife swears, is when the stupid drunk idiots run with the riders and slap them on the back. Myself, I never swear ;) , but I would deploy a good old PK if they did it to me.

So it's a 20 second penalty for both Froome and Porte I saw in the local press, is this correct.

Quintana must have woken up early today chomping at the bit...... All the riders in front of him must be nervous especially AC, going to be riveting stuff again.

Wonder if Conatdor snacked last night on steak with clenbuterol clams on butter roll :whistling:

Go Froome

From Inner Ring

Watch today's stage. It's technically the hardest stage!

  • Km 33.5 – Col du Glandon (1 924 m) 21.6km climb at 5.1% – category H
  • Km 83.5 – Col de la Madeleine (2 000 m) 19.2km climb at 7.9% – category H
  • Km 143.0 – Col de Tamié (907 m) 8.6km climb at 6.2% – category 2
  • Km 165.0 – Col de l’Épine 6.1km climb at 7.3% – category 1
  • Km 191.5 – Col de la Croix Fry (1 477 m) 11.3km climb at 7% – category 1

Some said yesterday was the Queen Stage but today is longer, has more climbs and more vertical metres. Presumably Alpe d’Huez wins on branding but technically today is the harder stage by most counts.

How long do you guys think it will still be for TdF to be broadcast on the radio (like rugby on RSG)? ^_^

Cause I am on the road from 12:30pm today and will be for 9hours... so no chance to watch -_-

Some race dynamics, I reckon:

Quintana will want to gain on 'Berto and claim a 2nd spot on GC.

'Berto will not want to be overtaken by the rookie.

Froome bonked yesterday and it will inspire other attackers.

Is he cracking or was that just a poor feeding strategy? His foes will test that out.

Valverde will want to impress.

Schleckie will aim to improve on his showing.

Riblon will feel like the King Of THe World and will do his best to show that it wasn't a once-off victory.

Tejay will want to taste glory after being overtaken in the last kay.

DON'T BLINK FANS

As long as it's not rugby, cricket or soccer, hmmmm...
