Is it a good idea to have a cycle computer to keep track of my average pace? Or is this useless because I may be walking up the last hill any way? I think I would like it more so I know how far to the crest of the next hill.

It is just nice to have to know how far you have gone etc. However that average pace thing might not be as encouraging at the 40 km mark

I have a race entry available for anyone that is interested. I think you will probably be re-seeded, but it is a yellow number. I came down with flu last week and I'm still too sick to be racing this weekend.

Pretty dam bummed about missing it, will make up for it next year.
