OK DMR vs On One

I already have a spacer kit & sprocket...so buying it again will be overkill.... how do you guys rate the On One chain tensioner?

For years I was a dynamic/sprung tensioner fan - eventually they turned out to be just another item that needed maintenance. Now I use the static type:

Thanks for opening my eyes Iron!

Definitely the DMR - someone said Gusset too. Perfect!

I already have a Magic Carpet Ride - the Steel Is Real is just too good a bargain to pass by!

Plus I have plans.....internal gears :-)

Use cheap 7/8 spd chains, they are strong and durable and last forever. Have yet to break a chain, but carry spare links incase I do.

If you decide to do a half link chain or BMX chain as some use, you can get half quick links here https://bmxdirect.ne.../kmc-half-link/

I have done about 1500kms with my e13 chainring and once you get rid of the grime it looks brand new!

Both work fine. I prefer the Gusset

That looks like a nice and simple design... don't know if I can wait that long for CRC to ship the parts

ive had my DMR tensioner on 3 SS builds now and it works perfectly fine with a cheap n strong 7/8 spd chain and the normal 32T chainrings that come with your crankset of choice.

Don't those move around after some miles? Well that's is what I heard anyway

Do like the fact that it pushes up instead of pushing down for better wrap
