As many who have invested may know, some things seem pricey, but once you get them, you wonder how you ever lived without them...

Haha.

I looked at the kit pricing over there to see if the stuff really is expensive by our standards.

A friend bought the 5.10 hightops for 105 Euro. That's cheaper than you'd get them here

I bought an Airoh lid for 450. I've not seen them anywhere else but based on local pricing on the MX ones they'll be deep into the 7k mark IF they come to our shores.

My mate Richard bought the Minnaar 2012 Oneal kit for 105 Euro.

I saw the Fox Rampage pro for 350. That's cheaper than I've seen them online.

So all in all the kit prices over there aren't that expensive if you look around. The one thing the shops were pulling the urine out of was Toy Lee Designs. 520 Euro for a composite D3 ain't no joke.

One of the great mysteries of the PDS is why do they have a Red Indian theme?

I know right? Like that one trail from the top of Chavannes to Nauchettes (it was green I think) has totem poles and everything

Actually. Come to think of it. Judging by the Harley festival there are a LOT of wannabe yanks in France.

Why-O-why?! They have one of the most beautiful areas in the world. So much culture... they really should leave Americanism well alone!

Ag. If we moaning about a few totem poles it shows how retardedly good the place is.

You guys need to get over to Morgins. OMG. Best trails in the PDS.

Ja Morgins is great. The black trails there will definitely make you consider just how good you are. The trails definitely feel a bit more out there for some reason. Perhaps I was just having an off day when we visited...

I'll have to go back & make sure
