I am sure we love our bicycles more than the owner loves his dog. He is responsible for wrecking the okes whole day and future relationship with his bicycle. It is worse that your wife cheating on you.

So lets hope he really loves his dog. Let the SPCA confiscate the dog and put it up for adoption or put it down.

Then he will have a crap day and feel what a busted relationship feels like.

He could have offered to sort the damage through his insurance. Surely staying in a double story thatched roof house Louis can afford it.

Bottom line. If you own a dog, you are responsible for any and all sh*t the dog does.

A dog is not allowed outside of the yard without a leash... its illegal!

It seems you know this 'Louis', I will go and make a batch of popcorn while you get to the actual point of this thread

im not reading all this drivel but its disheartening to think that because the rider and friend are pissed at a bit of material damage they would willingly want an innocent animal get put down.

its the owners fault not the dog, make sure the blame goes to the owner.

Please refer to page 2, you will see that i did say i do not want the dog to put down, i do not blame the dog at all, its a dog it will do what nature calls, its the owners fault for standing there with his dog seeing the incident and not even coming over to apologize or help me up, just chases dog back inside and continues raking his garden. But it seems that i have to report the dog to the spca in order to get the owners attention, which i am NOT prepared to do.

The dog is a menace not the first time it charges cyclists or pedestrians. Next time round it might bite or cause more damage?

Thank the dog for teaching you a lesson and for letting you get off fairly lightly.

Next time you see a big dog in the street, stop, greet the dog and tell him to "go home"

If the owner get's sassy, tell him you were talking to the dog, not him.

Dogs do what dogs do.

Ride on.

The owner is a pratt, obviously, but it hardly seems fair on the dog to be put down which it may be if you report it.

I would walk away.

don't take the dog out..shoot the owner.
