Weight back going in and arms and legs relaxed to absorb the sudden change in direction at the bottom of the dip. You burped the front tyre because your weight was forward and arms rigid.

 

It's just amazing how much thought has to go into every technical piece of trail. I love this sport.

That's the thing. People over think things and it ends badly. Learn one thing on the bike and that is to be relaxed and you will be amazed how easy everything else becomes.

 

Other golden rule is "when it gets hairy, get your weight back over the rear wheel"

This morning I had a moment where it could have been a nasty nasty little lie down ... stayed calm and ended up still hitting the dirt, but in a easy enough manner between the rocks and the bike undamaged .... I am also fine.

 

The rider behind be thought I was going to die.

Well last week I was the rider behind you doing my best Hadida impression as I nosedived into the dirt. That's what happens when you follow the Hairy line...
