All my DIY tools so far consists of :

 

BB/Headset press

Crown race setter

Bearing remover

Steerer cutter, not really DIY

 

Any chance you would post pics somewhere for us to see? Maybe a new thread? 'DIY tools'

And price wise

u can get a pony clamp for R250 at chamberlins a few pipes 3/4 inch with thread around 200 bucks , base wood 750 x750 less than a 100 bucks ,

one piece I have to make myself and thats the base plate with a coupler ,threaded, weld to the plate - could not get a flange

So I say u should be able to do for less than R600 a decent stand - I paid a little to much for my pony clamp only to find a cheaper one so shop around

I will conplete it over the weekend and post pics,

if u need assistance give me a shout ill gladly help.

Ordered mine from Mica. R710 had to be posted from up country.

 

The mica's here in Cape had no clue.

Strange, I saw one at Spiro's Mica in Durbanville. In fact, they had a few (at least 3) on the floor.

We forced Claremont/Lansdowne mica to call the HO. As they had never heard anything about this stand. And thanks to thehub they did and they ordered.
