It's not a very hard climb, the problem I had last year is that the hammer went down on the climb and if you cant hold the bunch it can be a bit of a windy ride back (as someone has already mentioned). So try and hold onto your group on the climb and if you cant hold on, try and form your own group with a few others, it will make the return trip a bit easier.

As a guideline, there seems to be a segment of the climb on Strava http://app.strava.com/segments/724194

It gets to a max of 7% gradient.

I did a training ride today... 7% gradient , almost lost my lungs

Did everybody finish today? That Tsunami was something else ...wow

Everything got drenched except my rain-jacket that had to stay in my pocket.

Nice seeing you - guess who? the one who was dropped or the one you told "ur friend got dropped"?

Must say, that rain and wind was a real bummer! But race went well, pushed a decent time which I'm happy with! Bmw1za,well done on the three second advantage! Haha that's what I get for freewheeling!

But a load of fun nonetheless, good to see so many turn out! The Casino entrance was a shambles, organisers should maybe mention about the heavy parking fee beforehand...
