Front tyre 2.2, Rear tyre 2.25 - Issue?

I just replacedmy front tyre and realised it is a 2.2 and my rear is a 2.25, will this be an issue?

What tyre brand as some tyres are"bigger" than others and more importantly, which tyre is the most aggresively treaded one

Tread pattern is more important. As long as you have the tyre with better steering grip on the front you'll be okay.

I run a 2.4" front and 2.2" rear. Bike rides like a dream. is as if it just floats on some dirt.

I have a Conti Protection X-king 2.2 on the front and a Schwalbe Rocket Ron2.25 on the back, the tread patterns are very similar, I have also had a wider tyre on the front than in the rear, but this is the first time that I have a narrower tyre in front.

Hi,

I understand Francois has the solution. I read somewhere that most of your control etc etc is off the front wheel. Thus if your wheel is wider it can be run softer and you will have more grip, and all the rest.
