Hey boet, times are hard - you have my sympathy. I can remember how bad things were just after the rinderpest--------.

Bite the bullet, hire a blond, you will recover.

Sarge.

In the same boat bud! as I look out the window at table mountain on this glorious day, I sink deeper into my depressive state as I am forced to stick to spinning while the shoulder and arm heal up! good luck!

Hi, my name is RocknRolla,

it's been two weeks since my last ride. I almost had to visit a gynaecologist after the fall on that ride. I hurt my right shoulder badly when hitting the dirt at Avianto (on that switchback section after the second black route)

I thought i broke my collarbone fo sho, but luckily it was not the case.

To add insult to injury (see what i did there?) i also contracted a bout of sinusitus and between the shoulder and the coughing and spluttering at night, i have had little sleep.

I am insanely depressed, i am impossible to live with at the moment, both at work and home,, not even the TDF fix i get everyday, or watching follow me, or reading BIKE mag makes any difference - it just makes me feel worse.

I have another physio appointment on saturday, and i am planning to try and do a chilled ride on saturday pm.

it hought writing this down may help..but guess what - it didnt....

Went through the same thing 3 times this year. Piriformis injury and two sets of broken ribs. Not cool! Glad you back on the bike.

Was also sick for a while and went for a ride and landed up in the heart hospital with an infected heart muscle. So not waiting long enough from my sickness i am not aloud to cycle for 2 months till my next test.
