Guys, go and check out the sani website. New route descriptions and total climbing updated. Don't want to give people a false sense of hope, but it seems like day 2 has less climbing in it. Weird, but true. It now reads 1400m total climbing where in the past it was anything from 1700-2000m

Just saw it as well...but day one is a bit harder

and me..except instagram integrates so nicely with strava i may have to start!

It is still fully marked...just think they give the guys the option to convince them that its the way to go. How better to test the system against a fully marked route

@farmer_glen

@fhpienaar @sani2c_scoop routes may have had slight changes due 2 farming operations. Timber harvesting, haulage route etc. GPS route r 100%

Who knows the travel time from Jozi to Underberg? Google Maps says 7 hours? Can't believe that

you basically have to go all the way down to halfway between hilton and howick and then to underberg...so.....Jhb to Howick 5 odd hours and then howick to underberg 2 hours....so yip

edit....unless you want to drive to harrismith across to maseru....through lesotho...and down the sani pass..but i reckon that would even take longer!

Does anybody have a spot or two available back from the finish to Jozi? Doing the race. Will obviously share costs.

It's either that or cycle back which might take a bit longer.
