Vinnydabutcher Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 Great race - hung onto Rattlesnake`s wheel last year but fantastic event. Make sure you can climb!!!!!!! Most of the downhills are fast - but not that technical. there are a few you need to be careful of but you can walk them if you are not sure. Well worth it and best value for dosh race around! rattlesnake and DIPSLICK 2

BUT, if you hate climbing you might just hate this event (on day 2 you will climb 1000m before you hit the 30km mark). Not the best event for a beginner IMO. Sani2c is much easier IMO. And the temp could be a challange if you don't like heat.

Iron Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 one of the best stage races we have .i dont enjoy stage races at the best of times ( im a XCO kind of muppit ) ( stage races are normally bouring open road trails , blleeeee ) but this race has some of the best whipping single track in SA, great climbs with fast flowing single track that will blow your mind . i have done three and its the one race i will not miss . just enter it and do it , you will be back i promise . rouxtjie, DIPSLICK and jcza 3
