rkeetsa Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 Hi, I am doing my first Trans Baviaan this year, and am looking for some collective wisdom about a few aspects of concern about the ride. 1. Any ideas about keeping feet warm after water crossings?2. Any recommendation on Tyres?3. Any recommendation about packing the boxes for check points? Thanks guys I'm really looking forward to the 17th of August and with your advice I hope to be better prepared.

D Vader Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 Wear a Neoprene toecap over the wet shoe, it will stay wet but you do not get the wind and it stays a lot warmer.

Have fun it is an awesome experience, enjoy the scenery, Baviaanskloof is beautiful!
