Checked out the new saseeding website. They seem to have changed the methodology for seeding events. Seems like it's far simpler than the previous one.

You get a score for every event and your best three count to your overall seeding. It also easy to drill down into your race results.

Overall website is far easier to use, so well done to them!

Weird.

I check my seeding index and it shows 39.27. Check my buddies index and then check mine again and its changed to 46.15

I also see that I have entered and finished the 60km Sondela mtb race (Which i didnt)

Trailseeker 1 I had a good time and got a 100 seeding index

Trailseeker 2 I had a horrible time and got a 40 seeding index

Same, I rode a 2h27 at Trailseeker 1 but got a 100 seeding!

But with 4h52 at Cullinan I got a 49 seeding. (I tended to a girl that fractured her collarbone.)

Damm, wanted to say I beat you at Cullinan :whistling: but you have a valid excuse

and I see that everyone got a 100 seeding at Trailseeker 1, even Nico Bell so that cant be right otherwise I demand they take my picture with him on the top step of the podium :whistling:

I hope my seeding index is wrong? I did 2h12 at Trailseeker 1 in 'J' batch and then 2h22 at Trailseeker 2 from 'C' batch... now my seeding index is at 80 something... Hope I still start in the C's for Van Gaarlens?

Well its easy to check. The formula they seem to use is your 3 best indexes divided by 3.

Those ase very quick times you have there. Are they for the marathon distance or the shorter distance. I think you should stay in the same batch as your last race.

Do the old road seedings that were on the Cyclelab site still exist?

Anyone know where they are?

The only place to check road seeding that i know of is on the PPA website. You need to be a licensed rider though

Weird... Both times were for the Marathon, although also got a 100 seeding for Hazeldene Trailseeker 1 and 100 seeding index for the USN Cup event 3????
