I hav e been cosidering the American classic race for some time

my wife race them and they are great wheels for her weight-50kg

I have used them before and they are great but apparently although im stll inline with their weight restriction my type of riding..

not the best lines..love the more technical stuff..and riding it on a HT..

seems like they wont last me too long.

I am 88kg.

weigh of wheels are important for me

any suggestion

and please mention weight of wheels and price if you know

Budget is R8000 ..10K max

thx

I have just ordered a pair of Citec wheels.

Eldron is the agent.

From the reviews i have read online and from the personal testimony of some hubbers, they sound like great wheels.

As for personal opinion, ill let you know when mine are on.

Maybe google them a bit and see.

Those citec wheels are super sweet and strong and ELDRON can/will give you all u need to know, but if you are only chasing weight I would imagine American classic RACE would be the majority votes, I would check out the citec, super stiff I know plenty mates/ hubbers that are very happy so far AND DID I MENTION THEY SUPER SWEET LOOKING,(no I don't get profit share) :)

Ditto on the Citec, what's very impressive is the spoke guarantee on a limited number of spokes, they not 32hole is my point. Know a few hubbers riding them, can't comment as non of them have complained.

AC i think are soft, i've seen a couple bent rims. I've never ridden either, i'm a light weight but still riding 32hole Crests on a 26" soft tail.
