I'd deffo go the Citecs... they are on the list and I have a set of AC's. From reports they have done some serious local races so they are proven in that arena and didn't fall apart along the way. I guess it depends on the terrain and the kind of race.

For my road wheels it's all about weight / power transfer lost through flex and in my dirt wheels I'm looking for a decent weight but I'm more keeping an eye on the strength and weight. I want to know I'm going to end up where I supposed to be without issues and I don't have to prep / true and check my wheels every time I go out of the shed.

Sorry for the hijack,

Advice Needed, So I want to build a light set of wheels, I'm thinking AM Classics Race rims with Hope Pro Evo 2 Hubs (btw I know these are not the lightest/best hubs, its just what I already have), spokes-What is recommended to keep the weight down & for strength? Does anyone know what the weight difference would just be if just buy the complete standard set of AM Classic Race wheels?

Dont think you can get the AM classics as just rims as they are a wheel set. Think you have to get the AM classic 101s. I stand to be corrected

Thanks alot, think thats a great option then much lighter than crests. But if you just bought the wheelset it would be lighter but the hopenhubs are nicer.
