AndreZA Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 On Saturday afternoon I got me a set of black Fulcrum Racing 5 Evolutions for R2000 from my LBS. These things are super gorgious. With 18 spoke on the front in a radial pattern and 24 on the rear. The rear is configured in a 2:1 ratio. This means that the drive side has 16 spokes 2 cross and 8 radial on the non-drive side. The spokes are also aero flattened and very thin. The interesting part is that there are 2 "heavier" silver round spokes on each weel. This is to balance the wheels. They are opposite the rim weld and each side of the valve hole. The freewheel is load like Campag and it really sounds nice. These wheels are not the lightets in the "cheap wheels" catagory (think Vista SL are about 80g lighter) but they surely look the best.
