Knee issue

Surely you are not asking the Hub medical advice. You can get any info here on bicycles, but leave the medical problems to your doctor.

 

With some of the advice that you may or may not receive, you could end up with an amputation.

Yip, I agree, but just in case, I am a qualified Orthotist/ Prosthetist so i'll have you back up and riding after that amputation either way!

I will do that amputation for him... no issues... :) now we just need an Anaesthetist... Think that's Latent Blue's calling.. although he seems to be looking at slides too much lately...

Not far off.... tools are still much the same.... Anaesthetics are better though... don't need quite so many people to hold them down...

No point in amputating below the knee for a painfull knee. Go big.

I had something similar last week, I dropped my saddle 5mm, moved my cleats a few mm back and moved my saddle forward a few mm.

 

I had pain on the inside of the left knee and outside of the right, only while cycling, the change to the bike setup fixed it.
