  1. I got me and the Wife the Ultimate Direction AK3.0 and Ultra Vesta vests. Best purchases ever. It was a tough call between the Salomon vests and UD but after seeing how strange some of the Salomon packs looked when fully loaded and bulging around the hips, I preferred the UD vests and the fact they fit high on the back. https://ultimatedirection.com/ak-mountain-vest-3-0/ https://ultimatedirection.com/ultra-vesta/
  2. That "studio footage" was pretty impressive. They had entire sets built out on the N2 towards Somerset West, the town, a few of the Ships, etc. Looks impressive seeing a fully rigged wooden ship while heading home on the N2.
  3. Snap! Was wondering why I didn't get my points for Exxaro today! Realised that I keep picking the wrong one when using my mobile!
  4. Thanks to Team Bulls and a bad Exxaro choice I dropped over 100places! Damn!
  5. Would also be great if the drop down options had the same names as the race register? Mixed category has a Thomas and Johan?
  6. Awesome clip but I have to say, less of the riding uphill footage, they just look strange, haha!
  7. Work in the medical field, even these puppies made out of carbon fibre carry disclaimers that there's no guarantee that you will not injure your knee wearing them. There are so many variables as mentioned before! http://p.vitalmx.com/photos/forums/2015/05/26/92432/s1200_Screen_Shot_2015_05_26_at_5.50.54_PM.jpg
  8. And some local flavour apologies for the poor quality video, guy called Dave Knowles covers Massive Attack - Teardrops https://youtu.be/yWMKVefizBQ
  9. Epic cover by Ben Howard, Wife thought his was the original:
  10. WOW! That's the Knife's Edge Trail I think? I've run it before with a howling wind and poor visibility but you definitely get a sense of the sheer drops to each side without even seeing them. Had a few "sit-down and think" moments on that section!
  11. Anybody else go to CT Fest of Beer? Pretty disappointing, beers weren't that great, smaller stands than last year and can't believe some of the awards winners but have to agree on DPBC Grapefruit IPA being the best. Feel like i'd rather spend my money on actual beers I like.
  12. You should have got a mail, I was given the choice of either having the board posted to me or collecting it from Complete Cyclist in Hout Bay. I'd follow up witht them, besides I'm not too sure if the trails re-opened after the work being done earlier this week.
  13. Am I the only one who's first reaction was Ariane who? Took a second to realize, haha.
  14. Just out of interest, are these trails accessible to general public? Permits? Routes?
