Outdoorboy Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 Hi I bought my Flash Carbon about a month ago at Tour de Frans Cycles. They gave me a really good deal on the 2013 model. The 2014 models should be in stores around November (confirmed by three shops) and yes the 2014 models are going to be pricey, with no major changes. So my opinion is go for 2013 model, if you can still get your hands on one. My flash handles, climbs and descends like a beast. Really happy with it. nickc 1

Lefty V Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 I am still surprised by how few F29s you see out there. It is one of those bikes that makes the whole wheel size debate fairly irrelevant and models like the Carbon 3 have insane upgrade potential.

Wil6 Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 The 2014 bikes is a let down I'm a huge Dale fan and the only things they change on the Flash was the groupsets and colour. They have been using the same frames from 2012 and the only real difference from 2012 to 2014 was a new Lefty in 2013.

G I am 1.72, have a few medium Cannodale mtb's, generally my seats are as back as they can go on the rails, stems I use are Hope 5deg 90mm, you also get a 110mm
