That's what I was thinking, riding through central park how fast was he going?

From all that damage I'd say brittle bones, that's the kind of bone shattering you get coming off a motorbike at high speed, he didn't even smack into anything looks like he just hit mother earth with some speed.

You don't need to be going fast or have brittle bones to do serious damage. I've been there recently, hence my new nick... and no it was not captured on camera
