Identical except for the Giant is ally frame, and the Commencal is a carbon frame? Same but different then?

I had a look at the new Trance at the shop the other day. It looks better in the flesh than I imagined and what I think was a medium frame, weighed in less than I thought and certainly less than my large 2013 Reign. The reviews are also good and the component pick isnt bad. They go for R21k now but have no dropper post and the groupset is a mixture of SLx and Deore.

What price range you looking at? My LBS just reveived 1 x Specialized Sworks carbon Stumpjumper 26" full XX groupset selling for chips!! And 1 x Specialized Expert carbon Stumpjumper 26" X9/X7 groupset for a even more rediculous price if you ride a L.

Giant over the commencal due to the better suspension design. DW (maestro) vs single pivot. Plus the giant is newer tech and a better frame design. Also has a better parts kit.
