The other team members are all leaving before 12h00 and we were wondering if anyone could assist? We will take his bike, so he will only need a spot in the car? DJR Posted November 21, 2013 Share Horrible, horrible last 48 hours - felt the flu coming on and nearly overdosed on Vitamin C to try and kill it early - to no avail - I have the F%#@&* SWINE of a FLU - and the only thing I could do was to tell my team mates this afternoon that I have to bail out. I have often thought about what I would do if I end up in this kind of situation, and I have even given others advice, but I NEVER knew how difficult it would be to pull the plug on something you have worked so hard for and that you are ready for. I never knew how bad it would feel to let your best riding mate down. I know it is the right decision, but at the moment I just feel truly down and shitty, way over and above how bad the flu is making me feel. :( Team Pain or Shine, may you have a cool cloudy day with the wind in your back for the whole 202 km!
