I'll take as signature on my permission slip to get "lost" in Tokai with my 4x4 and go round the back and up the only real gnarly piece of jeep track.

Dont worry, I'll act surprised and confused.

So. 3/4 of the trail has been blazed! Promises to be an awesome piece of trail. Fast and flow with a couple of jumps and climbs in for good measure. We had to keep as much height as possible so there is one section where 2 or 3 pedal strokes may be needed to carry speed.

last 1/4 is not open yet, but promises to be epic! Lots of speed and flow. Also a couple of bridges needed where there has been mega erosion but those will come. Should be rideable by the end of the week and will be a while to get it fine tuned and "finished"

Now its over to Deon and his team, should be open soon.

Awesome turnout and enthusiasm. Thanks to all. Special thanks to Pick n Pay for sponsoring the hot dogs and to Mayhem for the ice cold beer. Beautiful place. (Trust nobody objects to having their faces posted here)

Hey wasn't only me with the beers! Ramsew pitched in as did Crow - San.

But yeah - superb amount of trail cut today. If we had been there in the morning as well then the whole trail would have been open for riding...

To all that pitched up, thank you!
