Route profile from their website.Looks like they have shortened from what was originally advertised. First day 55km with +/- 979m climbing, second day 41km 563m climbing.

If this is correct, it is the last time I enter a Leverage Corporation event. Advertised as 65 and 55kms. The drive there and back will take longer than the 41km ride!

I am really not impressed by the change in distance!

This event went from 120km to 95km.

It better be Blooming Amazing single track, or it will be the last time I enter one of their events.

I would be miffed if I bought a product and got more than 20% less than advertised.

I'm also riding. Also a bit bummed by the drop in distance, but 1000m climbing in 55km should mean that it's tough enough.

 

Packing the family and making a weekend out of it. Should be great fun!

My fitness is not where i wanted it to be for this , was considering only doing one day, but now with the shorter distances i might try to do both days, so i guess for me it might be a good thing ;-)

 

Just a little annoyed with how difficult they are making it to register and do the event without actually staying in that expensive lodge. Only 1 day , in the middle of the week to pick up entries in fourways /sigh.

Drop me a PM and I can give you some accommodation options. I did mail the organisers to say I can assist with accommodation options should people not be able to stay at Mount Grace but they never replied!

This latest email got me a little worried about the logistics. Moving away from mount grace to boys town, no more kiddies area, etc... I really hope the Leverage corp guys have their ducks in a row. Was hoping for a nice family friendly event.
