Anyone know where you might find these (around JHB specifically, or somewhere local online)? I keep seeing them recommended for massage, releasing muscle tension. They're cheap on Amazon of course, but shipping can triple the cost. And I want now

By lacrosse ball do you mean a medicine ball (available at mr price sport) or the actual ball used to compete in that gay sport with the stick and net. ?

The kind used in the sport of lacrosse (stick and net). As I said, I have no intention of taking up the game but am curious to test its muscle-knot smoothing/relaxing powers.

Pretty sure any hard ball of a similar size would work, no need to spend a million bucks on it just cos Lance said it was a good idea.

A hockey practice ball should suit. Looks like a large golf ball. About R20 at Sportsman's Warehouse.

I checked if there are comparable balls, and it's more a matter of material than shape/size. Lacrosse balls are a bouncy kind of rubber apparently, hockey balls not.
