Returning from Knysna.

After an exciting weekend at Knysna Oyster Festival.

Monday morning, Getting all my gear recharged and ready to depart, 14h00.

Stopping briefly in Sedgefield for some coffee and cake, 15h00.

Getting to George I pulled over to put on some warmer clothing and have a coffee, 18h00.

Hitting the Outinque pass I was welcomed with a light drizzle.

It only lasted for about half an hour.

Arriving in Oudsthoorn I desperately looked for a place to grab a bite, 21h40.

Getting to Calitzdorp was easy till my body felt the temperature, minus 4', 01h15.

I stood at the side of the road desperately trying to get some blood circulation going to my hands.

Only after about 30mins did I regain feeling.

Arriving in Ladismith in time for Breakfast, 06h40.

Never had a more welcoming cup of coffee, defrosting my fingers.

Relaxing breakfast in front of the fireplace.

Trying to get to Barrydale seemed impossible, Town kept avoiding me, 15h45.

Grabbing a bite before getting back to the road.Pulling into Montagu I looked out for a friend, was invited for coffee, 19h00.

Warming up on some hot chocolate and getting ready for the next stretch.

Getting to Robertson, trying to keep the legs going, 23h30.

Replaced some batteries and refuelled.Arriving in Worcester, 05h00.

Just for some coffee.Going over Du Toits Kloof pass, stopping to look at the snow on all the peaks and the beauty.

Pulling into Paarl, 10h00.

I needed to remove some layers of clothing.

Ready for the final leg of my journey.

Arriving in Cape Town and feeling I had conquered my journey, 16h00.

50hours on a bicycle.
