Don't do it. I had a good hard look at one at Mike's. That is a concentrated bundle of heartache and strife...

Ā

Rear suspension bearings are going to be a misery, finish on the frame is rubbish.

Ā

4 years of very eager anticipation of this (allegedly) caviar bike, and it turns out to be barely cheese crackers.

Ā

Very disappointed.

Ā

Ps, there are only 4 in SA.

Thanks Dawie. Was it a built up bike, or did they have a frame?

Just a frame. R30k.

Ā

I have no doubt it will ride nice... Until you need to service the rear-end.

Ā

Aftermarket bearings are stronger and cheaper than what you get get from the bike manufacturers. A good bike shop will also give you the correct size, or take old bearings to shop that sells them.

Contrary to popular belief, bearing come in standard sizes, knock old ones out, put new ones in ride on ;)
