Cycling Major Posted November 23, 2013 Share Very good bike... It is basically an older model Bianchi which they gave a new paint job and fitted the latest gears... They do tend to go a bit cheap on the groupset which makes it VERY heavy. I think they put on Campy Veloce which compared to above mentioned 105 is very shitty... So for that price I would rather consider getting a better specked bike as with Bianchi you pay a lot for the name and actually getting a pre 2010 frame
Toxic Posted November 25, 2013 Share Tell him to look CAAD10 105 as well at 120kgs Cav, Just to confirm, do you think the specs of the Alu Caad10 will be strong enough to hold 120kgs?Mainly referring to the wheelset.
EZRider Posted November 25, 2013 Share Cav, Just to confirm, do you think the specs of the Alu Caad10 will be strong enough to hold 120kgs?Mainly referring to the wheelset. It comes with shimano RS11 which will need an upgrade. Any bike he buys will have to have the wheels changed to something with 32 or 36 spokes.A LBS can build 32 spoke Alex or DT Swiss rims on 105 hubs for a heavier rider.Other than that the CAAD is the way to go. Stiff, light and very strong. Ryan's dad

ahmedbadat Posted November 25, 2013 Share I have the bianchi, and im very happy with it, its not the fastest but then again it was built for comfort, did over 4000km till now and only had an issue once where the crank arm came off other than that the campy veloce and everything else has been good. I cant comment on the weight rating of the wheels though. Most importantly its the sexiest frame in the world!!! and that why he should buy it Toxic
