Anyone else following the international cyclocross season? It's well under way and getting exciting.

There are a couple of on-line resources:

-World Cup events are being broadcast live on You Tube in the UCI channel

-Most Belgian events are being streamed live

-The US scene is being covered by BTB-TV (not live, but lekka weekly reports, previews and behind the scenes skinner)

Cycling Fans has most of the events covered and their twitter feed will let you know when there is live streaming. Sporza stream is good, but Vier has been a bit dodgy, Flemish/Dutch, and if you praat die taal, you can pick up a lot of what's going on.

And most of the European events are being capped by fans in beautiful HD and can be d/l from cyclingtorrents and watched at your leisure & pleasure.

Its an exciting sport to watch, its full taps for about an hour. And with the winter setting in there, its making it all more dramatic. What I also love to see is the Belgian fans, they are so enthusiastic and all ages giving it horns. Yanks are a fun crowd as well, the sport seems to attract nice people.

Go Naas Daas!

Yup Katie is doing well both back at home States-side and Europe, but that's mainly because Ms Vos is not racing due to some recent corrective surgery (knee I think it was).

With the American guys its a different story there in Europe, they are rarely in the top ten/twenty. Most are not even bothering to come over this season for the World Cup events.

Yeah, I really expected more from Page this season.

I'd have to get a slightly bigger frame though...

Interesting to see discs on there, but not this weekend at Koksijde World Cup. European racers have been slow to adopt, Lars "Haas Daas" van der Haar is perhaps the only one of the top elites using them, but in the states they are being used by everyone now it seems. Sven tried them but grumbled that the extra kg was not worth it.

Since Crossnatz, he has been very disappointing.

The US racers need to spend the entire season in Europe (Like KFC), and build the necessary levels of fitness needed.

Koksijde and Jingle Cross are two very different animal.

I like the US scene because it is all-inclusive, fun and barring the higher level races, you can use ANY bike and race.

Love it.

where's the best dummies guide?

Probably on CXmagazine.

Cool beginner section, and there was a series detailing a rookies first ever season.

Also a piece about building a cross bike for cheap.
