Apologies for leaving that out.

From what I have found - I would require a 53cm bike (I am 1,65m tall)

I suspect that a 53 will be too big by a lot - I am 1.67 and ALL my road bikes are under 50cm - at 1.65, you are probably looking at a 48cm frame tops.

With a budget of 10 to 15k you can pick up a reasonable new bike and probably quite a good second hand one.

Look around don't rush into it - and make sure it is the right size to start with, pointless getting a good bargain but the size is incorrect.

You many need to keep a little spare cash for shoes

The bikes are both 54cm although the cheaper seller cant confirm exactly.

I will definitely have a look THANK YOU

here some online fit calculators that will give you an idea of size of bike you need

But would recommend going to your local bike shop, seeing what they have in your price range and get them to give a basic fit so you know. Then you can think further on the matter

I will visit a professional cycling shop this weekend and get sized up correctly.

Thank you!

That old Tommasini isn't even worth R10k.

There is a guy on the hub selling full carbon Focus Cayos with Sram force for R14 500. That must be the bargain of the year. They are apparently brand new and they have different sizes in stock

I am 1.8 and ride a 56 normal or 54 compact.

Agree that you need to look at below a 50cm
