At 20k (we had to really slow down) you can easily wobble, touch the truck and... I am completely flabbergasted. Could have been any of us. bmw1za Posted February 23, 2014 Share Well Up To the organisers, This event was TOPS...MY Ride.... whole other story, went too hard in BL the first hour so ended up cramping to HELL , Thanks to the marshalls for assisting(legs locked up and almost took some guys down...so sorrrrrry). A Pathetic 3h06 but hey ... RIP fellow cyclist and clearly someone that made a big difference in life (ChOC).  IMO, that stretch of road is just pure dangerous... What gets on my nerves today is that, the very same company of truck drivers were driving as close as they can to the shoulder lane (that nearly taken me out of action ), right after they've driving past through that tragic accident scene... On a different note, Thanks once again to the event organizer for today's event! scotty Posted February 23, 2014 Share Enjoyed the event, only issues i have is with the toilets in the parking area with no toilet paper so we had to go use the ones in the Casino which is a bit of a schlep if you have your bike with you, and fellow cyclists in AM bunch taking up the whole road, very different to last weeks one where they mostly behaved themselves.
