I put the spacers in as recommended but still no joy, Mechie recons its the wrong adapter. We'll see tomorrow when i pick it up where i went wrong. Capricorn 1

I usually use Shimano or Hope.LBS just called to say my bike is ready for collection, so will be interesting to see if they made a McGuyver or used another type of adapter. Will post a pic later. It's not a major problem, if a problem at all, but i'm going to hazard that that top washer is ever so slightly too thick, because from what i can see from that photo, the brake pad might be over-biting on the outer diameter of the rotor. One day, when you replace the pads, see if you can see an arc running along near the top of the pads where the outer edge of the brake rotor would've been running.
