Bummer.... that 30 is amazing. It was top notch the last two weeks. Perfectly dry but not dusty.... definitely where you should plan your next trip again ;) late afternoon or on rainy days the locals seem to disappear into thin air. Even the Hadidas that plague the polo field seem to spontaneously combust in the afternoons, nowhere to be found. Anyway, I'm rambling. At least you got to do Giba.... also good fun, but hey, it's no Karkloof ;) (I may just get murdered in my sleep seeing that this is a Giba thread)

Can anybody help with best way to get to the top of the gravity run in this vid, the map dosn't really show this very well, ended up doing the downhill marked on the map, which is trashed, and the marked enduro which is good.

But didn't have time to get to the trail in the video, its a shame because the guys do such a rad job building the trails but nobody at the park really maps and promotes them

Hey dude - as mentioned before in this thread - the trail you are looking for is at the top of Gravity Dice on the Blue route.

I know the DH is stuffed as they have felled the trees and the MX bikes have done some damage and it needs some TLC - so will be getting onto that soon - this track is generally not marked.

The Enduro line which starts at the top of the DH but goes off the other side of the hill back into giba is new so should have been quite open. Will also go and check that. I will try and get Jethro to put up some signage for people.

But stoked you turned left on the tar and gave them a go.

The best way to get to the start of both the Furnhill/Gravity dice and Enduro runs is to ask the staff at Giba for Richard, pay the shuttle fee, hop on his bakkie and tell him where you want to go. Not because I don't know where to go but I just don't like riding uphill  . It also means I can get more runs in since you get to the top way faster

To be honest i have no idea what route i did last year, i just saw on their website the blue route looks like the one i want to tackle in Dec. Any possibility that you record yourself via Garmin or strava and have a gpx, tcx file i can download?
