Brilliant riding. Was there yesterday, be careful of snakes. My son nearly rode right over one. Don't know what it was, didn't stick around too long...

Very good, well groomed trails. Well worth the visit.

Was there for the first time today. Awesome trails just got lost a few times as the marking misses me or I missed the markings

Locals say there are a few black mambas there. A few weeks ago I nearly rode over one in a game farm in the Waterberg...

Giba is aweaome man.. you lot are so fortunate. . Have ridden it 4 times since we got here on Saturday. . We go an combine the blue route and the green route ans well whatever we feel like riding, get a good 27-30km or so.(not sure what i did today but fell twice today, think I may have gotten a bit windgat).. bummed that we go back to flat lands on saturday.

I rode there yesterday, did about 45kms also split between the green and blue and fell about 4 times but well worth it. U guys are spoilt with single track like Giba! Honestly some hair-raising sections but that keeps the heartrate up :D Loved every second!

so back to my question... :)

do you actually need a 120mm travel bike for the enduro section or are they just covering themselves?

As SLiiick said it depends on the trail. Your skill level comes into play as well. I manage all the trails on my 120mm travel bike but prefer my 150mm travel bike.
