MTB_Roadie Posted January 7, 2014 Share Credit card, I used that option, the financing options through bike shops is at a rip off interest rate of 21%-27%+ You can get R29000 limit on your credit card (well I got that on my card but made it way less...) at an 17% interest rate (I got 17%) and you get the unemployement insurance should you be retrenched it is covered Otherwise save another 6 months extra and buy it cash... Super Sywurm Posted January 16, 2014 Share Are there any bike shops that provide payment options on their bikes? What I'm looking to do is purchase a bike in the region of R16 000 and then give a 50% deposit and pay the rest off over a period of say 6 months. There is a company that provides payment options on bikes ( www.bikelife.co.za ). Just get a loan at the bank and pay them back. My dealer let my pay off items I buy. brian1 Posted January 16, 2014 Share I saw signs up at Hot Spot giving a cash price, monthly installment and total financed amout, whether they are a registered FSP or use a different one, I don't know.
