Ahhh good to see SAPS are highly efficient and on the trail of the perps:

Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:

crimestopgauteng@saps.org.za

Technical details of permanent failure:

Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the server for the recipient domain saps.org.za by securemail-mx1.synaq.com. [196.35.198.158].

That looks like an overly aggressive spam filter on the pinpoint box.

Although, from a non-gmail addy, I get:

This is a delivery failure notification message indicating that an email you addressed to email address :

-- crimestopgauteng@saps.org.za

could not be delivered. The problem appears to be :

-- Recipient email address is possibly incorrect

Additional information follows :

-- 550 rejected because recipient verify failed - user not found

This condition occurred after 1 attempt(s) to deliver over a period of 0 hour(s).

If you sent the email to multiple recipients, you will receive one of these messages for each one which failed delivery, otherwise they have been sent.

Me thinks Joe Masapus need to investigate

Inspector Massapous spent a year in Kroonstad many moons ago and has no desire to rush back there...

Google tells me the person who owns that number is a busy fellow, "selling" the usual fare (Smartphones, high end camera stuff and bicycles)

Rest assured that either Inspector Joe or his new assistant ( Minister Fokoluthu ) will be pulling some chains shortly.

33 Reitz street has an actual shop front this time if you look on Google Streetview.

There is even a picture of a bicycle on the building - much more legit than the public toilet in plett.

Ja, but. Although the number doesn't link immediately to Alfred Samuels (whose number, by the way, is 071 459 7145 ), don't assume that the owner of this shop is involved. It's possible that the guys running the website are simply usimng this pic to add legitimacy to their game. (Just my very own personal theory :)

"Imposing Wholesalers" is a Chinese shop and has been there a long time. It has a good reputation amongst the locals.

Then owner's name is Kenny (unable to get a number for him as yet)

The immediate response from a local was that we should warn him (Kenny).

The fact that the website is at wozaonline.co.za makes me think it could be Alfred &co

That same thing has happened in 2012 or 2013 with a BIKE BRAND in South Africa. I remember it was all over The Hub. I hope your problem is sorted out now...

Best to get an Internet/IP detective on the case too, to track the IP address and send some boys around to physically shut them down!

Definitely scam, visit the shop this morning, the very friendly Chinese owner at 33 Reitz street Kroonstad say he used to sell only cheap bike but for the last 2 years he do not even sell bicycles any more. He did not know about the website using his shop address and he will follow up on it.

And *poof* the site is gone.

I flagged the site and received an email from woza asking me to prove my claim. I did and within 48 hours the site was gone.

Good to see that web hosters take their complaints seriously.

Thanks to everyone that emailed them too - you made a small difference to the cycling community in general and a large difference to me personally. Appreciate it!
